A Love Letter to Telluride

What may be seen today as one of America’s Greatest Resort Towns, Telluride has a fascinating & unique history. From the tough days of the Ute Indians and miners that shaped historical Telluride to the world-famous destination seen today, it has been eventful for Telluride.

The stories of the past are meant to be shared and that is the goal with A Love Letter to Telluride; an ode to a charming, historic, outdoor community with a story to tell.

Not surprising, the passion for Telluride & Mountain Village is as powerful today as it was for those who lived and visited here for the last 150 years. As we explore these stories, we want to have the townspeople of Telluride involved as much as possible in these efforts. This is not just about one film but the long-term preservation of the community and history. It begins with a documentary by the community to be shared during film festivals and in local venues. It continues with a website that will archive the stories of our past and the Telluride of the future for generations to come.

An early chapter in the love story.
